Shots Fired At McCain Bus, Is This The Politics Of Change? 10/20/08 4:35am
Well, it looks like the politics of "hope" and "change" are taking on a bit of a different style. Shots have been fired at a McCain campaign bus in New Mexico [Link]. For those of you that are new to the Republican/conservative fold you are probably surprised by this. But those of us that aren't so new, what with car vandalism, slashed tires, spat on and other indignities for voting for the guy (gal) the left doesn't like [Link] [Link] [Link] [Link] [Link] this isn't surprising really. It was only a matter of time. If you read the book "The New Thought Police" or "Liberal Fascism" you'll see that this is standard operating procedure for the leftists.
But the intimidation won't stop there either. It is widely known now that if Obama is elected and the Pelosi Democrats get the filibuster proof majority in Congress (highly likely at this point), the new "Fairness Doctrine" will be instituted to shut down conservative talk radio once and for all [Link]. The Republican agenda of smaller more efficient government, less taxes, free trade, drilling for our energy independence, more nuclear and more private enterprise to solve our more vexing problems has always had mass appeal when we have a candidate who can articulate the vision (not John unfortunately). But it is tough. At one point it was reported that the media were reporting about the Obama campaign over McCain by ratios of 7 to 1. And at the same time ignoring Obama's very sketchy present [Link] [Link] and past [Link]. Thanks to them we know very little about him and exactly what his politics of change will bring. But from what I know now what it will be will be dramatic and permanent. [Link]
Update 10/21/08: "KKK" scratched into a McCain/Palin supporter's car [Link].
